I wanted to give bit of the history of this film. Initially it was going to be a film about the use of homeopathy for autism. I needed people who had shot “before” footage of their child. Dr Luc De Schepper told me “I have the family for you!” He introduced me to the Korn’s, Nancy and Evan, who have an autistic son, Lucas. They had been shooting home video footage since their pregnancy! They were documenting everything–making a video diary for their son to see when he got older. When I first saw their footage, it was a filmmakers dream! Intimate, funny, sweet and there was a lot of it!  Then, I met Nancy, Evan and Lucas and knew they would be a perfect family to include in the film. Warm, articulate, smart, funny, and totally dedicated to using homeopathy to get their son well.

As I continued to research the subject, I started to realize that the film needed to expand to being a more general film about homeopathy. I wanted to reach, not only parents of autistic children, but everyone! We are going to continue to follow Luca’s progress for as long as we are working on this film! The Korn’s story will be, what is called the “spine” of the film. The central story. But from that story we will tell many others. The goal of this film is to change how we look at health and let the world know about homeopathy as a health care option.

I am sure the film will continue to change, the more stories we add, the more research we do, and the more people we meet.  Stay tuned!
